Adam Wolf

As a freelance musician in Los Angeles, Adam has had a variety of opportunities, including chamber music, orchestral playing, recording work, contemporary music and solo appearances. In addition to his freelance career, Wolf is the hornist and composer of Rock Horn Project, a multi-genre fusion band based in Los Angeles.

Along with performing, Adam is an active lecturer and clinician discussing a variety of topics including improvisation for classical musicians, starting and managing a chamber ensemble, and creating one’s own path through their artistry.

As of 2017, Wolf joined the faculty at the University of Redlands, and in 2018 became principal horn of the Redlands Symphony. Adam is passionate about the education of the horn, and considers it a privilege to work with some of the best students, faculty, and musicians.

Wolf has had the great pleasure of hosting a podcast entitled Pathways on which he interviews some of the greatest horn players in the world. This endeavor is a highlight to Adam, and loves engaging in talks with his peers.

Adam is a Conn-Selmer and Siegfried’s Call artist, and has a Bachelors of Fine Arts in composition and performance from California Institute of the Arts.
